Montgomery County elevation and terrain tools
Piedmont • County seat: Troy
Montgomery County is the heart of the Uwharrie Mountains, a worn range of steep hills and ridges in the Uwharrie National Forest, with the Pee Dee River, Lake Tillery and Badin Lake along its western boundary. The Little River and the Uwharrie River drain the ridges south toward the Pee Dee.
