Harnett County elevation and terrain tools

Sandhills • County seat: Lillington

Harnett County straddles the fall line, where the Cape Fear River cuts through rapids and bluffs at Raven Rock below Lillington. West of the river the ground rises into the longleaf sandhills, while the east and south flatten into coastal plain along the Upper and Lower Little rivers and Mingo Swamp.
