Craven County elevation and terrain tools

Coast • County seat: New Bern

Craven County is flat coastal plain where the Trent River joins the Neuse at New Bern and the Neuse widens into a tidal estuary toward Pamlico Sound. South of the rivers the pocosins and pine flats of the Croatan National Forest stretch toward Carteret, with low bluffs along the north shore of the Neuse.
