Pamlico County elevation and terrain tools
Coast • County seat: Bayboro
Pamlico County is a low, flat peninsula between the Neuse River estuary on its south and the Pamlico River on its north, running out to Pamlico Sound. The Bay River cuts into its middle, and marsh and pocosin cover much of the ground, which lies scarcely above the water.
