Madison County elevation and terrain tools
Mountains • County seat: Marshall
Madison County is steep, narrow country where the French Broad River cuts a gorge north through Marshall and Hot Springs to the Tennessee line. The Bald Mountains, with Max Patch among them, form the crest along that line, and the Walnut Mountains fill the rough ground between.
