Nash County elevation and terrain tools
Coastal Plain • County seat: Nashville
Nash County straddles the fall line, where the Tar River drops over rock ledges at Rocky Mount on its way east. West of the falls the land is rolling eastern piedmont, and east of them it levels into coastal plain along Swift Creek and Stony Creek.
